REQUIREMENTS : \u2022 A relevant 3 year Diploma \/ Degree in a related field or an equivalent NQF
\nlevel 6 qualification with 1 years\u2019 experience in a Customer Service environment
\nand \/ or a Grade 12 Certificate with 3 years\u2019 experience in a Customer Service
\nenvironment \u2022 A post-graduate qualification will serve as an added advantage \u2022
\nExperience in a Public Administration or Sales Office environment with proven
\nexperience in managing a small team is essential \u2022 Knowledge of the Immigration
\nAct , Refugee Act as well as the Public Service Act and Regulations \u2022 Awareness
\nof the rights within the South African Constitution \u2022 Understanding of the
\nDepartmental legislation and Human Resources policies and prescripts \u2022 Leading
\nand supervising skills \u2022 Communication skills \u2022 Computer literacy and willingness
\nto work extended hours, including weekends and\/or holidays are essential \u2022 A
\nvalid driver\u2019s license will be an added advantage\u2022 Preference will be given to
\ncandidates from the local area where the post is located.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : The successful candidate will be responsible for, amongst others, the following
\nspecific tasks: \u2022 Monitor service delivery in accordance with internal service level
\nstandards and targets and client demands \u2022 Monitor service delivery bottlenecks,
\ntrends and errors and take corrective action \u2022 Ensure processes are executed
\naccording to Standard Operating Procedures \u2022 Produce quality reports regarding
\nturnaround times, documents processed and error rates \u2022 Implement quality
\nassurance measures to ensure quality of service delivery \u2022 Manage records \/
\ndocumentation according to DHA requirements \u2022 Deal with non-standard
\nrequests and issues from staff in the execution of their duties \u2022 Allocate work to
\nstaff members and monitor their progress against daily targets or goals \u2022 Perform
\nend of day duties to ensure effective reporting, identification of issues and
\ncapturing of performance statistics \u2022 Identify challenges in operation (capacity,
\ntraining, bottlenecks) and make suggestions to Superiors \u2022 Render services in
\nmobile units where required \u2022 Oversee the performance of the staff members and
\nidentify and address minor performance problems (escalate major performance,
\nincapacity or misconduct matters to management) \u2022 Facilitate and direct staff in
\ndealing with leave and other Human Resources administration requirements
\nwithin the unit \u2022 Coach and guide staff on compliance to all relevant regulatory,
\ninternal and external compliance requirements \u2022 Report all risks including e.g.
\noverpayment, etc. according to required format to the Superior.<\/p>\n
