SALARY : R495 603 per annum, This inclusive remuneration package consists of a basic
\nsalary, the states\u2019 contribution to the Government Employees Pension Fund and
\na flexible portion that may be structured i.t.o. the applicable rules.<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate recognised Degree\/National Diploma PLUS a qualification in
\nAdvanced Project Management PLUS a minimum of 3 years experience in
\nmanaging projects PLUS experience in using project management tools. A postgraduate
\nqualification in project management and registration with a relevant
\nproject management professional body will be an added advantage. Knowledge
\nof the relevant Public Service Legislation. Knowledge of the project management
\ndiscipline and life cycle (PMBOK, PRINCE2). Knowledge of project management
\ntechniques and tools. Competencies needed: Financial management. Planning
\nand coordination. Project and programme management. People management
\nand empowerment. Time management. Risk management. Presentation and
\nfacilitation. Computer literacy. Contract management. Conflict management.

DUTIES : Key Responsibilities: Develop project scope and executable project plans in
\ncollaboration with responsible managers. Support departmental managers in
\nimplementing appropriate project management tools and methodologies,
\nprocesses and standards to ensure uniformity when executing projects. Facilitate
\nand coordinate the implementation of allocated projects from initiation to closure.
\nCompile and present project progress and close-out reports. Ensure quality
\nproject deliverables in line with the project plans. Identify and address emerging
\nproject risk ensuring project success.<\/p>\n
