SENIOR STATE ACCOUNTANT (SALARY LEVEL 8) 9 POSTS
\n(Two Year Contract)
\nSALARY : R 227 802 per annum
\nCENTRE : Pretoria<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate three year Bachelor\u2019s degree in Financial
\nManagement\/Accounting or equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
\nExperience in payroll administration may be an added advantage. Core
\nCompetencies: Planning and organisation of work, generic project management,
\nbudgeting and financial management. Process Competencies: Continuous
\nimprovement, problem solving and decision making, client orientation and
\ncustomer focus, communication and information management.<\/p>\n
Technical Competencies: Financial administration, monitoring and evaluation tools and<\/p>\n
systems, data capturing and management, generic Information Technology, but
\nadvanced competency in Excel.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : The successful candidate will perform the following duties: Capture relevant data
\nand check all wage payments and claims. Monthly reconciliation of wage
\npayments and claims, follow-up on outstanding wage payments and rejections.
\nProcess sundry payments for claims and wage payments. Maintain and clear of
\nsalary suspense accounts. Control the correctness of the distribution of item
\nanalysis reports to Financial Institutions. Manage enquiries regarding wage
\nmatters, claims and audit queries. Ensure compliance with the Public Finance
\nManagement Act, Treasury Regulations and other related legislation and
\ninstructions with regard to Financial Accounting.<\/p>\n
