\nSALARY : R270 804 per annum

REQUIREMENTS : An NQF level 6 qualification in management, information science or another
\nrelevant field; At least 5 years\u2019 experience in managing information services;
\nDemonstrated knowledge of information services; Strong ability to work
\nindependently, as well as manage, co-ordinate and engage in research outputs;
\nTranslate innovative ideas into actions and activities; Excellent communication
\nskills, both written and oral; Extensive knowledge of MS Office Software package;
\nGood technological skills to operate in a high-tech environment; Language skills
\nand the ability to communicate well with people at different levels and from
\ndifferent backgrounds; Enhanced written communications skills; A valid driver\u2019s
\nlicense and the ability to travel; and Ability to act with tact and discretion.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : To administer the system development, capturing, analysis and rendering of
\ninformation services for the National Career Information and Advice Service. To
\nmanage the information system development of the National Career Information
\nand Advice Service, including to: Research and recommend user requirements
\nrequired by the National Career Information and Advice Service. Research and
\nrecommend the design; implement and manage the National Career Information
\nand Advice Service\u2019s performance monitoring system. To develop and maintain
\nthe information of the National Career Information and Advice Service, including
\nto: Identify, collect, analyse, synthesise and provide National Career Information
\nand Advice Service information. Develop, maintain and ensure access to careerbased
\ninformation repositories and retrieval systems including case database,
\nknowledge base and internet portals.<\/p>\n
