DEPUTY DIRECTOR: OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY DIRECTOR-GENERAL 5\u00a0POSTS
\nBranches: Human Resources\/ Corporate Services\/ Diplomatic Training,
\nResearch & Development\/ Africa Bilateral\/ Americas & the Caribbean
\nSALARY : R532 278 per annum. This all-inclusive remuneration package consists of a basic
\nsalary, the State\u2019s contribution to the Government Employees Pension Fund and
\na flexible portion that may be structured in terms of the applicable rules.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS : An NQF Level 6 or equivalent qualification in Administration \/ Social Science \/
\nFinance or related fields; At least six (6) to ten (10) years relevant administrative
\nand or secretarial experience. Knowledge of relevant applicable public service
\nwide regulations; Knowledge and understanding of South Africa\u2019s Foreign Policy;
\nBasic knowledge of budget and procurement processes; Ability to resolve simple
\ntechnical problems\/issues in his\/her field; Remains abreast with the procedures
\nand processes that apply in the office of the DDG; Knowledge, capabilities and
\npractices associated with the support of administrative and management
\nactivities; Knowledge and ability to use computers and technology efficiently.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Prepare and process submissions and other documentation in the office of the
\nDDG; Provide effective and efficient management and administrative support
\nservice of the office of the DDG; Manage and administer budget processes in the
\noffice of the DDG; Manage staff under supervision.
