\n\u2022 Lead Category 2 and 1 Projects;
\n\u2022 Lead participator in research and development initiatives;

\n\u2022 Mentor to senior and junior staff;
\n\u2022 Engage in the operations divisions to understand how solutions are performing;
\n\u2022 Assist in troubleshooting complex problems;
\n\u2022 Offers formal or informal training in his\/her subject.<\/p>\n
\nEssential (must have):
\n\u2022 Relevant technical knowledge and experience;
\n\u2022 Methodologies (MOF 4.0, MSF, ITIL v3, SDLC, TOGAF);
\n\u2022 Expert knowledge in three or more technologies;
\n\u2022 Microsoft Infrastructure technologies, i.e. MS Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010; MS Active Directory; MS SCOM; MS SCCM;
\n\u2022 Microsoft Licensing;
\n\u2022 Product trends and developments;
\n\u2022 Interpersonal skill and mentoring;
\n\u2022 Presales, Proposals and Writing skills;
\n\u2022 Attention to detail.
\nDesirable (Nice to have):
\n\u2022 Microsoft Infrastructure Architecture and Strategy;
\n\u2022 Microsoft Business Productivity (SharePoint 2007, 2010; Microsoft Business Intelligence);
\n\u2022 Project Management;
\n\u2022 Expert presentation skills.<\/p>\n
\nEducation:
\n\u2022 Grade 12, plus relevant diploma or degree NQF Level 5\/6;
\n\u2022 Require more technical than management technical skills but is regarded as a technical manager;
\n\u2022 Strong design skills are required to be able to evaluate how a solution will interact with the environment. (People, Process and Technology);
\n\u2022 Need to understand the prevailing standards that are prevalent in the ICT sector.
\n\u2022 Must hold the following Microsoft Certifications:
\n– Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS);
\n– Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP);
\n– Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE);
\n– Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) \u2013 for development COP;
\n– Microsoft Certified Master (MCM) – Preferable.

\n\u2022 8-12 years of consulting or relevant work experience.<\/p>\n
