REQUIREMENTS : An LLB Degree or recognized four (4) year legal qualification, Admitted as an
\nadvocate or qualifies to be admitted as an attorney with the right of appearance
\nin the High Court will be an added advantage); The right of appearance in the
\nHigh Court of South Africa; At least five (5) years appropriate post qualification;
\nlitigation experience; A valid driver\u2019s license. Skills and Competencies: Litigation;
\nAdvocacy; Legal research and drafting; Dispute resolution; Case flow\u00a0management.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Key Performance Areas Execute the mandate of the Office of the Family
\nAdvocate; Perform all functions and duties of the Family Advocate in accordance
\nwith relevant legislation; Endorse settlement agreements or commenting thereon;
\nInstitute enquiries to ascertain the best interests of the minor child by means of
\nADR procedures and evaluation; Attend to Hague matters when delegated to do
\nso; Attend relevant circuit courts within the province.<\/p>\n
