The person that we are looking at employing will be working on two Schemes i.e. Medipos and Metstaff. The position will be based in Cape Town.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Incumbent will be responsible for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Calling members and service providers to confirm receipt and provide updates daily on outstanding enquiries<\/li>\n<li>First call resolution for resolving member and service provider queries<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring the Scheme and in particular Metropolitan Health is not unnecessarily exposed to financial risk as a result of incorrect information being provided to members and service providers<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring quality service, production, first call resolution and appropriate follow up to ensure resolution of queries which delivers effective individual contribution towards service level agreement compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Client retention and goodwill by effectively resolving queries from members, employer groups, service providers and the Scheme<\/li>\n<li>Understanding and effectively using the call centre telephony system and workflow management system<\/li>\n<li>The applicant should meet these requirements:<\/li>\n<li>Matric or an equivalent qualification<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of Afrikaans<\/li>\n<li>1- 2 years\u2019 experience in a call centre or client service environment<\/li>\n<li>Medical aid administrative experience is essential<\/li>\n<li>Excellent telephony and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent typing skills and proficient in MS Office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competencies Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to learn and apply new skills<\/li>\n<li>Team Orientation and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Flair for decision-making and problem solving<\/li>\n<li>Customer service orientated<\/li>\n<li>Initiating action (taking prompt action to accomplish objectives)<\/li>\n<li>Good listening skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional Information<\/strong><br \/>\nShortlisted candidates will be subjected to the following statutory checks:<\/p>\n<p>ITC<br \/>\nCriminal<br \/>\nReferences<br \/>\nQualifications<\/p>\n<p>We reserve the right not to fill the vacancy.<\/p>\n<p>Should you not be contacted within 2 weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.<\/p>\n<p>Disclaimer<br \/>\nOnly on-line applications submitted via our careers page will be considered.<\/p>\n<p>Internal Team Members must inform their manager of their application.
