REQUIREMENTS : Individuals who are in possession of a 3 year degree\/ diploma or equivalent
\nqualification and 3 years\u2019 relevant experience. Experience in a project environment
\nand drivers licence will be an added advantage. The ideal candidate should be
\nconversant with the public service delivery and management issues. Skills
\nDevelopment Act, Skills Development Levies Act, National Skills Development
\nStrategy, Treasury Regulations, Public Finance Management Act, South African
\nQualification Authority Act, National Qualifications Framework (NQF). Proficiency in
\nMS Office packages, Working knowledge of Project Management, Project
\nevaluation, Financial Management, Quality Management Skills, Business Writing
\nSkills, Communication Skills, Presentation Skills, Facilitation Skills and Procurement\u00a0Skills.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
DUTIES : Provide assistance in the administration of projects within the allocated portfolio.
\nAssist with administration of the Project Management Office of the NSF. Assist with
\naudit queries. Provide effective and efficient administrative support to Programme,
\nProject managers and Senior Managers. Ensure proper, safe keeping and
\nadministration of all documentation and files in the Project Management Office
\n(PMO). Ensure safe keeping and administration of SLAs\/ MOAs\/ MOUs\/ Protocols
\nand all other project contracts and monitor expiry dates and alert Managers
\nresponsible. Collect, analyse and collate information as requested by managers.
\nScrutinises projects documents to ensure administrative compliance. Where possible
\naccompany the Programme\/Project managers to projects site visits, monitoring and
\ninvoice verifications. Liaise with stakeholders in the Provinces on submission of
\nreports, performance information or any required documents related to Projects on
\ndue dates. Ensure that projects draw down schedules corresponds with approved
\nbudgets. Keep and check records of project expenditure and monitor expenditure
\nand alert Managers of possible over\/under spending. Administer Solicited and
\nUnsolicited projects proposals. Ensure the effective flow of information and
\ndocuments to and from all stakeholders. Assist in project management and liaison
\nwith stakeholders. Coordinate and Administer projects meetings and minutes.
\nFollow-up on projects actions points and communicate them to relevant role players.
\nCoordinate travel, accommodation, S &T claims and other logistical requests for
\nmanagers. Provide assistance with supervising subordinates and with their career
\ndevelopment.<\/p>\n
