REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 or Equivalent recognized qualification; 3 years\u2019 relevant experience in HR;
\nKnowledge and experience of Human Resource Management; Knowledge of
\nPerformance Management System in the Public Service, Public Service Act, Public
\nService Regulations, Departmental Human Resource Policies and the PERSAL
\nsystem; A valid driver\u2019s license. skills and competencies: Computer literacy (MS
\nOffice\/MS Excel\/); Good interpersonal skills; Good negotiation and mediation;
\nProblem solving; Ability to adhere to confidentiality requirements; Excellent\u00a0communication (verbal and written); Accuracy and attention to detail; Ability to work\u00a0under pressure.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Key Performance Arrears: Overall responsibility and control of own division; Manage
\nthe processing of permanent, contract and temporary appointments, deal with staff
\nutilization and establishment maintenance, promotions and performance awards;
\nManage the processing of service benefits e.g. leave, housing, overtime, long
\nservice recognition, state guarantees and pensions; Assist sub-offices with the filling
\nof vacancies; Draft performance agreements and oversee the performance of
\nemployees in the sub-section; Training and development of staff in the division;
\nRender support function to supervisory personnel including higher level; Prepare
\nreports on HR issues and statistics; Assist the daily operations of the units; Check
\nwork of sub-ordinates; Responsible for a variety of administrative duties related to
\nthe core functions of the department.<\/p>\n
