1. SENIOR MANAGER: MEC SUPPORT REF NO: SAC 2014\/03<\/strong> REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate Bachelor`s degree\/National Diploma or equivalent qualification. DUTIES : Provide strategic management to the staff in the office of The MEC. Serve as the ENQUIRIES : Ms Ledwaba M.S at 015 284 4138 <\/p>\n 2. MANAGER: PARLIAMENTARY OFFICER REF NO: SAC 2014\/04<\/strong> REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate Bachelor`s degree\/National Diploma or Equivalent qualification. DUTIES : Serve as a link between the Office of the MEC and the Legislature. Liaise with the ENQUIRIES : Ms Ledwaba M.S at 015 284 4138<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 3. MANAGER: APPOINTMENT SECRETARY REF NO: SAC 2014\/05<\/strong> REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate Bachelor`s degree\/National Diploma or equivalent qualification. DUTIES : Managing the Diary of the Executing Authority and compiling of programmes and <\/p>\n 4. MANAGER: HOD SUPPORT REF NO: SAC 2014\/06<\/strong> REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate Bachelor degree\/National Diploma or equivalent qualification. Proven DUTIES : Provide administrative and management support services to the Head of Department
\nSALARY : An all-inclusive remuneration package of R819 126 per annum (Level 13)
\nCENTRE : Head Office (Polokwane)<\/p>\n
\nAppropriate managerial record or experience. Preparedness to work beyond normal
\nworking hours. Interpersonal relations skills. Strategic capability and leadership
\nskills. Communication skills. Problem solving and analysis. Good verbal and written
\ncommunication. Facilitation and presentation skills.<\/p>\n
\nfirst point of contact between the MEC and the Head of Department and all other
\nofficials in the Department. Manage strategic stakeholder relations and do regular
\nenvironmental scan and advise the MEC accordingly. Attend high level meetings
\ninvolving the MEC and take record of such proceedings.<\/p>\n
\nNOTE : The short listed candidates will be subjected to competency assessment, security
\nclearance and the appointed candidate will be expected to sign a performance
\nagreement within three months after assumption of duty and disclose financial
\ninterests within 30 days after assumption of duty.<\/p>\n

\nGood Management and administrative skills. Ability to liaise and communicate at all
\nlevels. Strong interpersonal relations. Prepared to work irregular and long hours.
\nGood organising and coordinating skills. Computer Literacy.<\/p>\n
\nLegislature and advise the MEC on all issues that require his\/her attention. Serve as
\na liaison between the MEC and the Constituency Office. Execute other duties as
\ninstructed by the Head of Department, the Head of the Office and or the MEC.<\/p>\n

\nKnowledge of the Public Service environment.<\/p>\n

\nprocedures and general management practice. Communication, report writing,
\ninterpersonal and computer skills.<\/p>\n
\n(HoD). Coordination of strategic decisions from various internal and external forums
\nincluding meetings chaired by the HoD. Management of the component budget.
\nMonitor and report expenditure against the budget. Ensure implementation of
\nvarious for a`s decisions and report on progress. Manage and utilise human
\nresources in accordance with relevant directives and legislation.
