\nTo co-ordinate, facilitate and implement land transport safety interventions provincially in the N1, N2, and N3 corridors.<\/p>\n
\nRequirements:
\n\u2022 A suitable and recognised B-degree\/ Diploma (or equivalent qualification) – NQF 6;
\n\u2022 A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a Project Management\/ Project Facilitation\/ Facilitation\/ Public Speaking environment;
\n\u2022 A valid code B driver’s licence.<\/p>\n
\nRecommendations
\n\u2022 Willingness to travel and work irregular hours;
\n\u2022 Ability to function under pressure, work well independently and within a team.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Initiate Land Transport safety interventions through the provincial corridors or provincial wide;
\n\u2022 Coordinate, facilitate and implement Land Transport Safety interventions in support of strategic objectives;
\n\u2022 Maintain a risk matrix assessment for the projects with monthly review reports;
\n\u2022 Organize and implement information sessions with law enforcement agencies on legislative frame work;
\n\u2022 Convene project planning meeting with relevant stakeholders and assist with the development of project plans with detailed budget plans;
\n\u2022 Evaluate the effectiveness of Land Transport Safety interventions and conduct impact assessment
\n\u2022 Identify critical gaps and elevate to management as for the projects reviews.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Knowledge of the following:
\no All legislation, regulations and policies impacting Land Transport Safety;
\no Public Finance Management Act;
\n\u2022 Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills in at least two of the official languages of the Western Cape
\n\u2022 Proven computer literacy (Ms Office, Ms Project, Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Internet);
\n\u2022 Excellent Presentation skills;
\n\u2022 Sound organising and planning skills;
\n\u2022 Report writing skills.<\/p>\n
