Key Duties & Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Cost calculation of export components and project support
\n\u2022 Responsible for controlling and reporting of component export business
\n\u2022 Analyse local market to explore further export possibilities
\n\u2022 The cost calculation contains:
\n– Overall responsibility of reference calculations for localisation purposes
\n– Viability calculations to support localisation decisions
\n\u2022 Comparison of global costs and evaluation of cost benefit.
\n\u2022 Evaluation of Local Content for model series, key components and parts.
\n\u2022 In coordination with development, Purchasing, Suppliers, Germany and the Plant, generate measures for the optimization of products and costs (material cost efficiency)
\n\u2022 Initiate continuous improvement activities to improve efficiency and quality of processes
\n\u2022 Support Make or Buy decisions
\n\u2022 Compile special reports and\/or comparisons for Germany
\n\u2022 Lead interdisciplinary projects
\n\u2022 Apply GAAP and DAG accounting principles in a manner which is in compliance with the Company\u2019s Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy and S.H.E. requirements as well as perform delegated S.H.E. tasks and duties and inform superior about deviations<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Skills <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Sound knowledge of costing methods and tool calculations
\n\u2022 Good knowledge of automotive technology and components
\n\u2022 Sound knowledge of MS Office Applications
\n\u2022 Knowledge of automotive supplier landscape in South Africa
\n\u2022 Good communication and presentation skills in German\/English
\n\u2022 Project management skills
\n\u2022 Minimum basic German knowledge
\n\u2022 Willingness to work in a team and in an international work environment
\n\u2022 Ability to perform the minimum required physical and mental requirements of the function<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry, with extensive knowledge of product development and controlling, customer ordering, material purchasing and contract awarding processes,
\n\u2022 Good negotiation skills.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Education<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Minimum NQF 7 (New) \u2013 Degree in Accounting \/ Business Science \/ Engineering\/ or relevant equivalent with proven management accounting competence<\/p>\n
