REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate three [3] year tertiary qualification in Heritage Studies, coupled
\nwith a minimum of two [2] years relevant experience, Knowledge of the legislative
\nframework governing museums, Good understanding of Public Service
\nlegislative framework applicable to government, including systems and
\nprocedures, Knowledge of the Restoration and Conservation Act, Excellent
\ncommunication and writing skills, Planning and organizational abilities, Ability to
\nwork independently, yet function optimally as part of a dynamic team, Good office
\nadministration, planning and organizational skills, Critical analysis and research,
\nanalytical, project management and planning skills, Policy Development Skills,
\nComputer Literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc), Valid code 8\/EB driver\u2019s\u00a0license.<\/p>\n
DUTIES : Curate the Provincial museum collection, Manage the inter-loan collection
\nmanagement system, Provide training on collection management, Conduct field
\nresearch on each object for collection, Provide professional support to affiliated
\nmuseums.
