SARS seeks to enrol qualified Graduates in the Corporate Legal Services and Legal & Policy Division:
\nCorporate Legal Services
\nCLS was established with the purpose to provide SARS’s Executive and Senior Management with legal services and advice on corporate law provisions. CLS also provides advice to SARS regarding the impact of non-tax legislation that might have a bearing on SARS’s operations and administration. A further purpose of CLS is to play a supportive role to ensure corporate compliance with legislation and applicable regulatory provisions.<\/p>\n

\nThe main purpose of this Division is to lead the realisation of SARS’s strategic goals through revenue and customs legislation, interpretation of the revenue and customs laws, dispute resolution and corporate legal advice
\nThe graduate development programme of SARS is a 24 months programme (fixed term) where you will be introduced to a broad spectrum of learning experience while developing generalist and specialist fields.
\nAt the end of the development programme, trainees who successfully meet SARS’s recruitment requirements will be considered permanent appointment.
