ChemSystems provides chemical products to a diverse range of industries through its six business units. Chemisphere Technologies supply chemicals to the pulp, paper and leather industries. Applied Castings Solutions supplies resins and associated products to the foundry industry. Capital Polymer Additives produces PVC heat stabilisers, plasticisers and additives. The Silicones division supplies a range of silicone polymers, Constructichem providing chemicals in the building industry, and Status Industrial Solutions manufactures and distributes an extensive range of chemicals for industrial applications. TriboChem Minings Division supplies high performance Lubricants and Degreasing Chemicals to the mining sectors in South Africa and Africa.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Strengthen and expand current business with existing customers and seek new applications for existing product range.<br \/>\nActively develop new business and customers by implementing lubrication related cost saving initiatives together with customers in the region.<br \/>\nProvide technical service and information to customers to support cost saving initiatives.<br \/>\nDevelop and execute a sales and marketing plan for the region.<br \/>\nPrepare and implement annual sales and product forecast.<br \/>\nMaintain expenses within budget limits.<br \/>\nProvide service and sales reports to customers and Tribochem Management.<br \/>\nBe available to perform emergency callouts to customers to fulfill urgent lubrication requirements.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Relevant diploma or degree in marketing would be an advantage.<br \/>\nQualification with mechanical bias would be an advantage.<br \/>\nMinimum 5 years\u2019 experience in technical sales (value and selling) in the mining industry and specifically lubrication experience.<br \/>\nMust have basic computer knowledge MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.<br \/>\nResides in the Kuruman\/Kimberley area and be prepared to travel nationally.<br \/>\nValid driver\u2019s license.<br \/>\nMust have good analytical and communication skills and be able to communicate on multiple levels.<br \/>\nMust be a self-starter and highly motivated.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competencies <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Time management.<br \/>\nCommunication.<br \/>\nAnalytical thinking.<br \/>\nInfluencing.<br \/>\nSelf-starter.<br \/>\nPersuasiveness.<br \/>\nCommercial Awareness.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/aeci.erecruit.co.za\/candidateapp\/Jobs\/View\/140819-9\/Technical_Sales_Representative\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description ChemSystems is looking for a suitable Technical Sales Representative for Tribochem Mining Services for the Northern Cape.
