\n\u2022 Diploma in General Nursing<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 3 – 5 years\u2019 experience as a General Nurse<\/p>\n
\nPrimary Health Care<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Ensures adherence to policies and procedures and nursing standards
\n\u2022 Provides counselling and health education to staff
\n\u2022 Ensures that chronic illnesses are controlled
\n\u2022 Provides required treatment to employees and dispenses medication according to recognized nursing standards
\n\u2022 Minimized absenteeism
\n\u2022 Ensures appointments \/ referrals are made to medical practitioners
\n\u2022 Co-ordinates required laboratory \/ pathology testing by ensuring that correct samples are sent to the laboratory and that feedback is presented to relevant employees
\n\u2022 Replenishes first aid boxes
\n\u2022 Assist in the management of Injury on Duty cases.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Communicate & coordinate awareness\/health days in line with the health calendar
\n\u2022 Liaison with patients & other medical practitioners According to nursing & health standards on continuous bases
\n\u2022 Ensure that chronic illnesses are controlled
\n\u2022 Offer correct counselling on preventative measures on continuous bases<\/p>\n
