ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:<\/p>\n

Carry out fault diagnosis to aid and speed vehicle servicing.
\nEnsure diagnostic equipment is used in vehicle examinations.
\nEnsure DCSA procedures and policies are carried out during repairs and printouts kept diagnosed to customers\u2019 satisfaction.
\nDiscuss matters with Service Advisors as required and provide lucid explanations.
\nCo-operate in vehicle care and safety whilst dealing with vehicles.
\nEnsure that comebacks are limited to minimum.
\nAttend to breakdown calls as and when required.
\nEnsure vehicles are returned to customer after service in neat, clean condition.
\nJob Cards to be completed in full handed to service advisor as soon as vehicle is repaired and repair clocking carried out correctly.
\nAll parts to be signed for at parts dept and used on relevant vehicle. Unused parts to be returned to parts.
\nAttend training courses provide by DCSA and Cargo Motors.
\nAssist with other reasonable requested duties as and when required.<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n

Matric or equivalent.
\nPassed Maths and Science.
\nDriver\u2019s license essential.
\nSkills and Personal Attributes<\/p>\n

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:<\/p>\n

Knowledge of motor vehicles.
\nMust be customer orientated.
\nComputer literacy essential.
\nTechnical Skills.
\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
\nHand-eye coordination skills.
\nAbility to work in a fast paced and pressurised environment.
\nProblem solving.
\nAbility to make decisions.<\/p>\n
