Spencer Ogden is a global energy recruitment company with its focus on the Sub Saharan African Market. Currently we are looking for an HR Officer who will report to the HR Manager of a global Renewable Energy Company. He\/She will be responsible for supporting the HR Manager in performing all the HR activities, from training to recruitment, administration, compensation & benefits.<\/p>\n

Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n

\u00b7 University Degree<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Valuable Master Degree in HR<\/p>\n

\u00b7 3 years of working experience in HR, ideally handling administration, labor law, industrial & union relationships, compensation & benefits<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Ideal background in a small-medium subsidiary of multinational company requiring high levels of responsibility, autonomy and flexibility<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Extremely proactive and flexible, person able to work in small teams and to deal autonomously with different tasks at the same time<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Ability to prioritize and to organize time efficiently, to communicate clearly and interact with organization at all levels as well as with SA external entities (Social Security, Government, consulting firms)<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Working experience with SAP and Microsoft Office<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Fluent in English<\/p>\n

Job Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n

RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)<\/p>\n

Selection and Placement Activities<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Evaluate application forms, screen CVs, post jobs, liaise with recruitment firms and job portals, connect with Business Schools, University, Professional Associations<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Evaluate forms for request of new hires and get the eventual approval of Human Resources Manager<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Perform job interviews, arranging interviews of the selected candidates with department managers<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Prepare all the necessary documentation for new hired candidate, liaising with all the entities and bodies to deliver them all required papers<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Prepare the registration files of new employees, arranging induction plans and training programs<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Monitor the probation period of the employees and get her\/his manager to evaluate this period<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Have follow-up interviews with the employees at the completion of the probation period.<\/p>\n

Exit Activities<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Arrange documentation and procedures for all the employees who quit the job<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Prepare dismissal notice & documentation for authorities, as well as severance payments, when they are required<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Give exit information to IT Department<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Performance Appraisals, Training & Personnel Development<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Ensure the delivery of performance appraisals forms to departments managers and make sure to receive back complete information<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Monitor the results of performance evaluation system and make related reports.<\/p>\n

Define training activities needed for professional development accordingly<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Detect training needs, that will be taken from external firms<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Coordinate every internal and external training<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Arrange, evaluate, record all the training activities, performing related reports<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Give orientation training & prepare induction programs for newcomers<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Ensure development and continuity of orientation program<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Negotiate with external training firms the content and condition of training, checking the profile of trainers and their certification and references<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Personnel Administration & General Services<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Make organization charts<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Perform documents, statements and declarations for Social Security<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Notify Social Security and Tax authorities in time regarding new hires and termination of employment<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Control employees presence and deliver statistics regarding absenteeism<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Generate disciplinary records, perform disciplinary notifications, keep records<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Coordinate, inspect, ensure the regularity and quality of cleaning services<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Be in contact with subcontractors, monitoring and providing the related needed documents of subcontractor staff<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Promote social, cultural and sport activities with the aim of improve the morale of staff<\/p>\n
