INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME FOR 2011\/12 The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Economic Development and Tourism hereby invites applications for Internship opportunities that exist within the Department. Applications are invited from unemployed graduates\/diplomats residing in the KwaZulu-Natal Province so as to gain practical work experience in the following operations in the Department. Accordingly, internships will be offered in the following fields:<\/p>\n

\nApplicants must satisfy the following requirements:
\nAn appropriate tertiary qualification, degree\/National
\nDiploma relevant to the above-mentioned fields
\nMust have been unemployed for a minimum period of at least 1 year after
\ncompletion of a tertiary qualification
\nBe between 18 and 35 years of age
\nBe resident in KwaZulu-Natal.<\/p>\n
\nThe programme will run for a period of 1 year (01-04-2011 to
\n31-03-2012)
\nSuccessful applicants will be required to enter into an internship contract with the KwaZulu-Natal Department
\nof Economic Development and Tourism
\nThe Public Service is under no obligation to employ the Interns on completion of the
\nprogrammes Interns will be paid a monthly stipend, as outlined in the Departmental Internship Policy
\nNB: The Department does not promote recycling of Interns, if you have previously participated in an Internship Programme, please do not apply or
\nyou will be disqualified
