REQUIREMENTS : Appropriate Trade test certificate. Ten years post qualification experience required as an Artisan\/Artisan Foreman Valid driver\u2019s Licence.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Manage technical services and support in conjunction with technicians\/artisans and associates in the field, workshop and technical office activities<\/p>\n
Ensure the promotion of safety in line with statutory and regulatory requirements and be responsible for the safety of subordinates<\/p>\n
Provide inputs into existing technical manuals, standards drawings and procedures to incorporate new technology<\/p>\n
Ensure quality assurance in line with specifications Monitoring of subordinates performance i.e. quality of work and adherence to standards and time frames Monitoring of day to day operations<\/p>\n
Reporting weekly on the work progress to the Principal Artisan Superintended Routine inspection of all government buildings in his sub-region. Ensuring that the equipment inventory is kept up to date<\/p>\n
Ensuring tools and equipment are kept in good condition and are maintained regularly<\/p>\n
Responsible for the approval of leaves for the subordinates<\/p>\n
Report any abnormalities to the Principal Artisan Superintended.<\/p>\n
