\nTo provide cadastral information, expropriation sketches and survey plans for road design purposes, for the maintenance and improvement of the Western Cape Provincial road network.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 A National Diploma in Survey or Cartography or relevant qualification;
\n\u2022 Compulsory registration with PLATO as a Survey Technician\/Surveyor;
\n\u2022 A minimum of 3 years post qualification technical (Survey) experience;
\n\u2022 A valid driver’s licence (code B).<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Experience with cadastral data calculation and compilation, 2D\/3D Cad (MicroStation, uSmart, Civil Designer) and expropriation sketches will be advantageous;<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Compilation and provision of cadastral data, information and plans in digital and hardcopy formats for topographical survey mapping, expropriation, and support systems;
\n\u2022 Preparation of expropriation plans and sketches, as well as topographical survey drawings, using MicroStation CAD, uSmart and Civil Designer;
\n\u2022 Quality control of outsourced cadastral compilation and calculations to ensure compliance with prescribed TMH11 standards;
\n\u2022 Quality control of outsourced expropriation plans and sketches to ensure compliance with prescribed standards;
\n\u2022 The provision of technical expertise and advice to the private and public sectors relating to cadastral and expropriation data.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Knowledge of the following:
\no The norms and prescribed standards of TMH 11;
\no Survey design and analysis;
\no Research and development;
\no Technical report writing;
\n\u2022 Proven computer literacy (computer aided survey applications);
\n\u2022 Communication (written and verbal) skills;;
\n\u2022 Spatial perception and Technical skills;
\n\u2022 Planning and organising skills.
