As a member of the Dell Global Storage Services Team, the job of the IT Systems Integration Consultant is primarily a storage, backup and archiving Consultant supporting Dell’s enterprise clients. You will be responsible for assessment, design and integration of Dell Compellent\/EqualLogic\/DX, SAN, NAS, DAS and object infrastructures as well as NetVault, Appassure and vRanger. You will also work on various custom enterprise solutions related to data management offerings.<\/p>\n
You need excellent communication skills for this job. You have to understand, then be able to explain or discuss, technical and business issues: with customers, account teams and other internal partners. You will be expected to be self-directed and operate comfortably in a remote, high availability or mission critical environment. Representing Dell, you’ll also be expected to provide onsite service leadership during difficult customer situations. Primary Job Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Here’s a basic outline of the work and responsibilities you\u2019ll have:<\/p>\n
Deliver storage accelerator engagements (Assessment and Design) for primary storage, data protection and archiving.
\nDeliver technology projects from design to sign-off.
\nBeing the Subject Matter Expert across SAN, NAS, Object Storage, Backup and Archive.
\nProviding assistance on scoping & planning.
\nProactively identifying potential risks and implement mitigation plans.
\nRun whiteboard sessions and technical workshops
\nWhen you\u2019re not actively engaged on jobs, you\u2019ll provide support for some of the other delivery functions such as:<\/p>\n
Identify, define, and establish technical best practices.
\nProactively provide technical assistance to less experienced team members.
\nStatement of Work reviews
\nHelp establish strong relationships with partners, vendors, and sales.
\nDemonstrate ownership and the ability to problem solve and drive issues to resolution.
\nDemonstrate superior leadership characteristics covering both technical and non-technical items.
\nProactively coaches, mentors, and develops resources.
\nStay current with technology trends.<\/p>\n

QualificationsRequired Skills:<\/p>\n
Undergraduate degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or Graduate degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.
\nMCP and VCP and Storage certifications (e.g. EMC Proven, Netapp, HDS)
\nExpertise in SAN, NAS, Windows, Linux, VMware, FC, iSCSI, Archiving and Backup Technologies
\nExperience with Data Migration methodologies and tools
\nAbility to travel to customer locations, work in a flexible schedule and react to business needs 24×7<\/p>\n
