REQUIREMENTS :<\/p>\n
Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor\u2019s degree or National diploma in
\nPublic Management\/Administration, Logistical Management, Purchasing
\nManagement and\/or Financial Accounting. A Tender Administration related
\ncourse and\/or Supply Chain Management course. Relevant experience in
\nDemand and Acquisition Management on salary level 8 (proof of salary level must
\nbe attached). Sound knowledge of the administration of bids in accordance with
\nstrategies, policies and applicable legislation including the Public Finance
\nManagement Act, 1999 (Act 1 of 1999) (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations as well
\nas the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2000 (Act 5 of 2000)
\n(PPPFA). Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills. Good computer
\nskills. Good planning and organising, interpersonal relations and problem solving
\nskills. A valid driver\u2019s licence (minimum Code B) and the ability to drive.
\nDUTIES : The incumbent will be responsible to co-ordinate and manage the bid process as
\nwell as provide administrative support during the bid process. Co-ordinate and
\nmanage the quotation process and provide administrative support during the
\ninvitation for quotations process. Oversee the maintenance of the Department\u2019s
\ndatabase. Manage human, financial and other resources of the Section.<\/p>\n
