{"id":19565,"date":"2014-10-20T08:01:45","date_gmt":"2014-10-20T06:01:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=19565"},"modified":"2014-10-20T08:01:45","modified_gmt":"2014-10-20T06:01:45","slug":"procurement-logistics-internship-recruitment-2015-sanccob","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/procurement-logistics-internship-recruitment-2015-sanccob.html","title":{"rendered":"Procurement &#038; Logistics Internship Recruitment 2015 at SANCCOB"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The function of the Procurement &amp; Logistics Intern is to assist the Operations Coordinator to manage and control all stock and supplies, including sourcing, purchasing and receiving in a controlled and responsible manner to ensure maximum savings and financial efficiency for the organization.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, tasks of the Procurement Intern will be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Procurement:\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with sourcing stock and supplies and arranging efficient delivery<\/li>\n<li>Assist with regulating major suppliers and establishing a vendor master file<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stock control:\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that all stock is duly received and accounted for<\/li>\n<li>Assist in maintaining stock control<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Logistics:\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with providing logistic support for all projects and operations at SANCCOB<\/li>\n<li>Assist with maintaining company vehicles and controlling usage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Other:\n<ul>\n<li>Assisting with general administration and reception duties<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This position will be best suited to a Procurement &amp; Stock Control student or recent graduate who seeks to gain practical experience, and learn from an experienced Supply Chain Officer<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will have demonstrable proof of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A qualification (or a student currently studying) in Procurement &amp; Stock Control or a related field)<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy with advanced Word and Excel skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong numeric skills and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining an individual workload<\/li>\n<li>Good communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>How To Apply<\/h3>\n<p>Applicants are requested to submit a CV with at least 2 contactable references (max 3 pages) and a letter of motivation to fax: 021-557 8804, Attention: Operations Coordinator or e-mail to <a href=\"mailto:simon@sanccob.co.za\" target=\"_blank\">simon@sanccob.co.za<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A Brombacher, M Hopley, Dr. A Makhado, Dr. C Nxomani, S Ozinsky, Dr. S Petersen.<\/p>\n<p>Management will not accept telephonic applicatios and will only correspond with applicants selected for interviews.
