COMMUNICATION OFFICER REF NO: Q9\/2014\/53
\nSALARY : R 227 802 per annum
\nCENTRE : National Office: Pretoria<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS : A Degree\/ Diploma in Communication Science\/ Public Relations\/ Marketing and or Journalism. 2 to 3 years of experience in Communications. Good command of at least three official Languages. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal organizational skills are essential. Report writing and basic computer skills are essential.<\/p>\n

Willingness to travel and work overtime. Ability to work under pressure. An understanding of principles, values and methodologies underpinning government communication.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

DUTIES : Assist with the development and implementation of the organization\u2019s communication strategy. Assist with Media Liaison duties. Assist with internal communication and marketing of the department in order to build the image of the IPID. Production of marketing material, promotional items and production of publications.<\/p>\n

Participate in government programs to enhance the image of the department. Support internal events. Maintain departmental Website and Intranet. Administrative duties relating to marketing and communication services.<\/p>\n
