REQUIREMENTS : A National Diploma\/ Degree in Library science\/ Information Science or equivalent
\nqualification; 2 years\u2019 experience in library and information system; Skills and
\nCompetencies: Communication skills (verbal and written); Report writing skills;
\nSupervision and leadership skills; Computer Literacy (MS Office, Internet (Juta
\nStat and Lexis Nexis); Research and planning skills; Problem solving and
\nplanning skills; Creative and analytical thinking skills; Customer service
\norientation; Assertiveness and decisiveness.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Key Performance Areas: Coordinate orientation, training and development of
\nlibrary interns, Judge Law clerks, library staff exchange programme researchers;
\nDevelop and maintain library catalogue, accession of new materials, and data
\nclean-up of local fields using inmagic database management system.;
\nResponsible for the classification, cataloguing of material and indexing of
\ngovernment publications, etc; Maintain Government publications collection of
\nnational signification-including the identification, acquisition and subscription,<\/p>\n
classification and cataloguing of the material; Provide effective people
\nmanagement.<\/p>\n
