REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate qualification at NQF 6 in Financial Management majoring in
\nAccounting \/ Cost Management Accounting, At least three to five years relevant
\nexperience, Thorough knowledge of Public Service applicable financial legislative
\nand regulatory frameworks, principles and practices of financial planning and
\nbudgeting, Working knowledge of Basic Accounting System (BAS), PERSAL,
\nStandard Chart of Accounts (SCOA), and other government operating systems,
\nExcellent ability to communicate verbally, in writing and through presentation,
\nKnowledge of Financial Management \/ Budget planning and implementation,
\nAdvanced computer skills, Candidates will be subjected to a competency
\nassessment, A valid driver\u2019s license (Code EB).<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Assist with coordination of the process of managing and implementing the
\napproved budget, Assist with assessment and completion of the financial tables
\n(using MTEF data), Assist with preparation for Financial Oversight report, Assist
\nwith preparation for the year-end procedures for closing of BAS, Co-ordinate
\nbudget submission, Consolidate EC4.1 and EC5.1 for the department, Liaise with
\nline function managers with regard to their expenditure control commitment
\nreport, Co-ordinate in – Year Monitoring report<\/p>\n
