{"id":19829,"date":"2014-11-12T02:35:10","date_gmt":"2014-11-12T00:35:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=19829"},"modified":"2014-11-12T02:41:53","modified_gmt":"2014-11-12T00:41:53","slug":"national-youth-service-programme-intake-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/national-youth-service-programme-intake-2015.html","title":{"rendered":"National Youth Service Programme Intake for 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>National Youth Service Programme Intake for 2015<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Calling all Unemployed Science, Engineering and Technology Graduates to apply for this volunteer opportunity at SANSA.<\/p>\n<p>REQUIRED TO VOLUNTEER IN THE DST&#8217;S NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE PROGRAMME<\/p>\n<p>Volunteers will be based at the SANSA Science Centre in Hermanus.<\/p>\n<p>Three (3) positions for persons aged 18-35 are available<\/p>\n<p>This is a one year contract position (1 January 2015 \u2013 31 December 2015)<\/p>\n<p>Stipends paid to volunteers per month are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>National Diploma (R4000),<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree\/B.Tech (R4500),<\/li>\n<li>Honours (R5000),<\/li>\n<li>Master&#8217;s (R6000),<\/li>\n<li>PhD (R7200).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The volunteers will be required to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with School Science Support programmes<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of science education material<\/li>\n<li>Organize and facilitate science and technology awareness events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Science Degree or an Engineering qualification with Physics and Mathematics as one of your subjects will be to your advantage<\/p>\n<p>Good communication skills<\/p>\n<p>All travel and relocation costs will be at the candidates&#8217; own expenses.<\/p>\n<p>Communication will only be conducted with short-listed candidates.<\/p>\n<p>If applicants have not heard from us within 4 weeks of the closing date, they must assume that their applications were unsuccessful.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>How to Apply<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sansa.org.za\/careers\/vacancies\" target=\"_new\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Click Here to SANSA CAREER<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"yui-tag-span yui-tag\">Closing date: 14 November 2014<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>National Youth Service Programme Intake for 2015 Calling all Unemployed Science, Engineering and Technology Graduates to apply for this volunteer opportunity at SANSA.
