REQUIREMENTS : Tertiary qualification: IT Diploma \/ Degree (NQF 6) coupled with minimum of 3
\nyears relevant IT experience with training\/project management modules; 2 years
\nexperience in rendering an IT related LAN Support service; Experience in
\nnetwork administration, help \u2013 desk first line support; Knowledge of government
\nprescripts, regulations and laws; Knowledge of the development of user training
\nmanuals, guidelines and procedures and drafting of budget; Evaluation of End \u2013
\nUser training; Knowledge of IT in Public Sector; Project Management, Change
\nManagement and LAN Support; One year experience in End User training; One
\nyear experience in Project Management; One year experience in systems
\nmanagement; A driver\u2019s license. Skills and competencies Communication (writing
\nverbal, written and oral) skills; Excellent writing skills; Training skills; Computer
\nskills (Ms Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Internet, etc); Problem solving and
\nAnalysis; Change Management; Presentation skills; Project Management; Ability
\nto offer lessons and practical training; Interpersonal relations; Planning and
\norganizing; Ability to operate presentation equipment; Customer service
\norientation; Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines;
\nUnderstanding of confidentiality in government; Diversity Management; Extensive
\ntravelling.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Provide\/conduct functional training on Business System Applications; Provide
\napplication first line support and liaison with the end \u2013 user on LAN Support;
\nLiaise with contracted service providers at the regions; Conduct infrastructural
\nassessment (Applications Support) and coordinate all the related activities within
\nthe region; Manage project for the rollout of business systems and training;
\nProvide end-user assistance with IT solutions and systems in the regions;
\nCompile provincial reports on the IT system usage and project status reports.
