\nREQUIREMENTS : An appropriate B Degree, National Diploma or equivalent qualification on NQF
\nlevel 6. Minimum of three years relevant experience in Supply Chain<\/p>\n

Management, particularly in Demand and Acquisition management. Knowledge
\nof the PFMA, Treasury Regulations and other relevant Public Service Prescripts.
\nExtensive knowledge of Supply Chain Management prescripts. Computer literacy
\nin MS Word and Excel. Good interpersonal skills. Good Planning and organizing
\nskills. Ability to work under pressure and independently. Ability to think
\nstrategically. Good Communication and problem solving skills. Ability to work in a

DUTIES : Administer bid requests and capture them in the bid register and allocate bid
\nnumbers. Compile memorandums to initiate and commence with a bid process
\nand sought approval thereof. Provide administrative and secretarial support to
\nthe bid specifications and evaluation committees. Conduct markets assessment
\nfor potential suppliers as well as industry analysis for requirements. Compile bid
\ndocuments. Check submitted bids for completeness and administrative
\ncompliance. Draft bid advertisement to be published in the Government Tender
\nBulletin, NPA website and the national media. Arrange the opening and closing
\nof bids including registering of received proposals. Organize and coordinate
\nlogistical arrangements for bid specification and bid evaluation meetings. Present
\nbid evaluation recommendation reports to the Bid Adjudication Committee for
\napproval. Prepare and send acceptance letters of awarded bids including
\nunsuccessful letters. Compile and update the bid register regularly. Assist in the
\npreparation of the monthly reports. Monitor bid validity periods and request
\nextension when necessary. Assist in conducting due diligence on the
\nrecommended service provider. Respond to bid related queries from the
\nprospective service providers and Business Units. Liaise with National Treasury
