\nCENTRE : Magistrate Courts: Durban (1), Emlazi (1), Empangeni (1), Hlanganani (1),
\nKwadukuza (1), Ladysmith (1), Newcastle (1), Nongoma (1), Nqutu (1),
\nPietermaritzburg (1), Port Shepstone (1) and Verulam (1)<\/p>\n
\nappropriate post qualification legal experience; A valid driver\u2019s license. Skills and
\nCompetencies: Case flow management; Dispute Resolution; Legal drafting;
\nLegal research; Office management, planning and organization skills; Good
\ncommunication (written and verbal); Good interpersonal relations; Computer
\nliteracy (MS Office); Ability to interpret acts and regulations; Negotiation,
\nmotivation, customer relations, self-management and stress management skills.<\/p>\n
\nto the judiciary; Issue all processes that initiate court proceedings; Process and
\ngrant judgments by default as required by the Magistrates Court Act, 1944 at the
\ncourt where stationed; Issue court orders and manage the civil and criminal
\nSections, including divorce cases; Process reviews and appeals; Implement
\nrules, procedures and practices and costs periodically in co-operation with the
\njudiciary and Court Manager; Manage court information relating to civil and
\ncriminal sections including the keeping of statistics and the submission of returns
\nto the Court Manager and the Department; Exercise control over case records as
\nwell as the record room and deal with the files in terms of the Archives Code\/Act;
\nAttend to any Tax related matters; Ensure annotation of relevant publications,
\ncodes, acts and rules; Provide effective people management<\/p>\n
