\n\uf0b7 A National Diploma \/ a Degree in the field of Information Technology \/ Supply Chain \/ Logistics
\nManagement \/ Purchasing Management\/Policing.

\n\uf0b7 A comprehensive knowledge of System Development Lifecycle and Minimum Information Security<\/p>\n
Standards.
\n\uf0b7 Knowledge of standards for IS\/ICT infrastructure and a detailed knowledge of demand, procurement,
\ncontrol, maintenance and disposal of the IS\/ICT infrastructure.
\n\uf0b7 A working knowledge of all policies and standard operating procedures concerning all spheres of
\nSupply Chain Management\/ Interim Financial Statements.
\n\uf0b7 A knowledge of all policies, the User Asset Management Plan and standard operating procedures
\nconcerning Facility Management.
\nCore Functions:
\n\uf0b7 Ensure systems are developed, implemented and maintained, which support the current policies and
\nstandard operating procedures within the Supply Chain Management and Facility Management
\nenvironments.
\n\uf0b7 Ensure the identification, development, implementation and maintenance of interfaces with other
\nGovernment or private institutions, to provide a seamless solution to the Supply Chain Management
\nand Facility Management environments.
\n\uf0b7 Ensure system security is maintained across all spheres within the relevant business area.
\n\uf0b7 Manage consultants, contractors, contracts and Service Level Agreements from service providers
\nwhich are relevant to the business area.
\n\uf0b7 Implement, manage and maintain the IS\/ICT infrastructure needed for relevant business area in SAPS
\n\uf0b7 The effective and efficient management of all resources allocated to the immediate post environment in
\naccordance with relevant directives and legislation.<\/p>\n
