Post requirements
\n*Be in possession of Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with\u00a0Mathematics\/Accounting\/Economics as a passed subject;*Have a certificate in Financial
\nManagement\/Public\/Business Management\/Public Administration or related fields;
\n*Applicants in possession of a higher qualification in the specific field or who have\u00a0completed an internship\/currently undergoing an internship in the Public Service may\u00a0receive preference;*Appropriate\/relevant experience in the field of the post as well
\ncompetency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be an advantage.<\/p>\n

Core Functions:
\n*Creation of financial authorities for cost centers with the DPCI.*Draw expenditure reports\u00a0and monitor all authorizations and commitments against provincial DPCI\u2019s budgets.
\n*Perform supplier payment functions.*Filing of all financial applications and payment\u00a0schedules.<\/p>\n

2. Accounting Clerk<\/strong>

\n*Be in possession of Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with

\nFinancial Claims and Advance within the DPCI.*Administer the salary administration within
\nthe DPCI including payroll.*Administer housing applications for personnel within DPCI in
\nterms of housing policy for SAPS and Administer Allowances (Overtime, Night shift
\nallowance and Public Holidays).*Filing of all finalised Overtime Claims, Night shift Claims,
\nPublic Holidays; Cell phone Accounts and TMS.<\/p>\n

General:<\/strong>
\n* Only the official application form (available on the SAPS website and at\u00a0SAPS recruitment offices) will be accepted. The Z83 previously utilized will\u00a0no longer be accepted.
