You will be groomed and mentored throughout the program however someone with a can-do attitude and innate ability to solve problems will be the successful candidate.<\/p>\n<p>During the course of the 12 month program you will focus initially on core skills training to develop the personal and professional skills needed to establish yourself within the Mimecast community. Thereafter, you will progress into the relevant division in which you have been appointed, where you will have a dedicated mentor, ready to groom and guide you in your first year of work.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Front of House (Reception) Hospitality:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring reception is presentable and welcoming at all times<\/li>\n<li>Meeting and greeting visitors and clients. Offering refreshments and a car wash service on arrival<\/li>\n<li>Answering and directing of calls<\/li>\n<li>Courier parcels<\/li>\n<li>Opening the boom gate for visitors<\/li>\n<li>Security check and sign in sheet for visitors<\/li>\n<li>Meeting room management<\/li>\n<li>Acceptance of company parcels<\/li>\n<li>Managing the car wash service and register<\/li>\n<li>Booking meeting rooms as requested and ensuring Outlook calendar is kept up to date<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Office Support:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ordering and Management of Daily Office deliveries (lunch, fruit, water etc)<\/li>\n<li>Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post and deliveries<\/li>\n<li>Stationary Management<\/li>\n<li>Internal Meeting arrangements and catering<\/li>\n<li>Assisting all departments with admin tasks as needed to ensure smooth running of the office<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to the National Travel Manager where required<\/li>\n<li>Managing and maintaining a relationship with office suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Setting up for Internal and external events<\/li>\n<li>Binding visitors book<\/li>\n<li>Placing most recent magazines and newspapers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Facilities Support:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring meeting rooms are kept tidy and presentable throughout the day<\/li>\n<li>General co-ordination of Facilities with the rest of the team<\/li>\n<li>Consumables Ordering and Stock Management<\/li>\n<li>Office Repairs and Maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Supervision of the Cleaning Staff<\/li>\n<li>Management of the Cleanliness and Hygiene of the office and kitchens<\/li>\n<li>Office Security<\/li>\n<li>Office Key Management<\/li>\n<li>Staff Recycling Program<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with Health and Safety procedures<\/li>\n<li>Adherence to the Facilities Budget and Purchase Order processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Assistance (PA) to Directors:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Booking Travel<\/li>\n<li>Diary\/Meeting Management<\/li>\n<li>Ad hoc PA tasks as required by the Directors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Qualification\/s:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate must have completed the following in the last 2 years:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Office Administration Diploma<\/li>\n<li>Office Management Diploma<\/li>\n<li>Business Management Diploma<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Personal Characteristics:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>The ability to multi-task and problem solve whilst maintaining flexibility in response to changing requirements<\/li>\n<li>Excellent time keeping<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use own judgement &amp; initiative<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working in a fast paced organisation with ever changing needs<\/li>\n<li>Recognise that customer satisfaction is a principle measure of our business and our values<\/li>\n<li>Expect to effect change and take ownership of your responsibilities<\/li>\n<li>Ability to quickly gain an understanding of systems and processes<\/li>\n<li>Strong skills in MS Office suite<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As a small team we all participate in many ad hoc projects\/ task as and when they are required, so a flexible outlook and approach is essential.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>How To Apply<\/h3>\n<p>Only completed applications submitted to the <a href=\"mailto:graduates@mimeast.co.za\">graduates@mimeast.co.za<\/a> will be considered.
