The program will last between 18-24 months of on-the-job training inclusive of soft skills training within the company. This will be a limited duration fixed term contract.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>The trainee program will consists out of the following areas of exposure:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engineering exposure\n<ul>\n<li>Application and exposure within field of study.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Operational Exposure\n<ul>\n<li>Day-to-day running and activities within the division.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>KNOWLEDGE\/SKILLS:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to apply relevant theory practically in any given context.<\/li>\n<li>Dynamic, energetic and committed individual.<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate.<\/li>\n<li>Leadership skills and display potential to develop into a leadership role.<\/li>\n<li>Networking skills and excellent interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Business awareness and orientation within our operational environment.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) English.<\/li>\n<li>Analytical and problem solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to deliver tasks in a timely manner against deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Common sense approach and ability to work on own.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and ability to take ownership and responsibility.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to learn.<\/li>\n<li>Project management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>QUALIFICATIONS:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed BSc or BEng degree in the following fields:\n<ul>\n<li>Mechanical Engineering (X3)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>All subjects to be passed with a good academic average<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How To Apply<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.evrazhighveld.co.za\/BursaryInfo\/EHSV%20experiential%20learning%20application%20form.pdf\">Download application form<\/a>.
