REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate 3 years\u2019 Diploma\/ Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Labour Relations\/Human
\nResource Management\/NQF level 6 or equivalent. 5 years\u2019 experience Labour
\nRelations Management of which 2 years supervisory experience. A sound
\nknowledge and understanding of all Labour Relations related Legislation. An in
\ndepth knowledge of Project Management and Communication systems. An
\nunderstanding of all relevant Human Resources, Legislative framework,
\nRegulations and Prescripts. Problem solving and analysis skills. Business report
\nWriting. Excellent Presentation skills. Advanced Computer Literacy.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Investigate issues regarding misconduct, incapacity and grievances in the TVET
\nColleges Sector. Provide Specialist support on Labour Relations expertise and
\nskills. Provide guidance on the disciplinary, misconduct and grievance process to
\nTVET Colleges to ensure sound Labour Relations practice. Assist in conducting
\ndisciplinary, misconduct and grievance matters in accordance with Public Service
\nprescripts, relevant legislation, collective agreements and departmental policy.
\nEnsure procedural and substantive compliance in the management grievance
\nprocesses. Accurately update the case management system. Record keeping of
\nincidents and competently represent the department at external dispute resolution
\nforums involving designated high profile and complex matters. Be part of the rapid
\nresponse team in resolving issues which can lead to disruptions in Colleges
\nincluding Community Colleges. Compile reports on all labour and employee
\nrelations activities within the College sector.<\/p>\n
