\nREQUIREMENTS : National Diploma in Human Resource Management with 1-2 years\u2019 experience in
\nHR appointment and conditions of service matters as well as Persal administration<\/p>\n
OR A Grade 12 Certificate and 3-5 years\u2019 experience in HR appointments and
\nconditions of service matters as well as Persal administration PLUS the following
\nkey competencies, Knowledge of Human Resource Administration, PERSAL
\nadministration\/approval\/reporting function, Skills, Corporate governance,
\nComputer skills (MS\/Suite and Persal), Supervisory skills, Exceptional
\ninterpersonal skills, The ability to interpret HR prescripts and apply them, Problem
\nsolving skills, Planning and organizing skills (Ability to work under pressure with
\nseveral different issues simultaneously), Numeracy skills (calculation of leave
\nbenefits for payout, back pay etc.), The ability to identify urgent and\/ or important
\nmatters, Communication, Good verbal and written communications skills,
\nCreativity, Must be an innovative thinker and be able to express the creativity,
\nAbility to listen to any complaint and provide idealistic solutions thereto.
\nRecommendation\/Note: A HR qualification or Experience in condition of service
\nand PERSAL will serve as a recommendation. The candidates will also be
\nsubjected to computer\/typing and calculation test during the interview.
\nDUTIES : KRA\u2019s: Check, approve and administer the application of HR transaction,
\nprocesses and procedures pertaining to Conditions of Service (Leave, Medical Aid,
\nHousing, Pension, Injury on Duty, resettlement issues, overtime, allowances,
\ntransfers to other departments) and utilise Persal, Appointments\/ promotion\/
\ntransfers\/terminations\/administration of establishment control (employees only)
\nService Benefits, Performance Management and Development System, Administer
\nthe processing of casual \/ contract workers salaries and extension of contracts,
\nProvide inputs on the development of policies and give advice to clients on HR
\nprocesses and procedures, Compile and submit statistics report, Supervise and
\ndevelop staff
