\nSALARY : R 148 584 per annum Level 6
\nCENTRE : Pretoria
\nREQUIREMENTS : Grade 12\/ Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification at NQF level 4 with
\naccounting as a subject. A minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in Financial
\nAccounting. Friendly, trustworthy and accuracy.
\nDUTIES : The successful candidate will be expected to handle documents and information
\nwith strict confidentiality. The responsibilities of the appointee will entail calculation
\nand payments of claims for examiners and moderators on the PERSAL and BAS
\nsystems, control over schedules of claims, capturing of new examiners and
\nmoderators on the system, liaising with examiners and moderators on outstanding
\ninformation not submitted before a payment could be processed and handling of
\nenquiries concerning examiner and moderator claims. Filing of examination related
\ndocuments. Assisting with keeping of a register for examination related claims.
\nAssisting with Audit Queries concerning examination related transactions.
\nCommunicating with internal and external clients.

\nREQUIREMENTS : Grade 12\/ Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification at NQF level 4 with
\naccounting as a subject. A minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in Financial
\nAccounting; knowledge and understanding of PERSAL and Basic Accounting
\nSystem (BAS); knowledge and understanding of the PFMA and Treasury
\nRegulations; good communication (verbal and written) skills; computer literacy;
\nproblem-solving skills; planning and organizing skills; analytical skills; liaison skills;
\nclient orientation skills; financial management skills; presentation skills; customer
\ncare skills. Friendly and trustworthy; Accuracy; Confidence; Ability to work under

\nDUTIES : The successful candidates will be expected to handle documents and information

\nthe Department; Checking of transactions of the Department; Update and review
\nof all financial policies and procedures; Ensure the implementation of policies and
\nprocedures; Liaise with regional offices on financial matters; Assist in the
\nperformance of regular inspections to various sites of the Department. Requesting
\nof BAS reports when required. Filing of claim related documents. Communicating

\nand distribution of pay slips to all pay points for all runs, the distribution and follow
\nup of payroll certificates for all salary related payments, the checking and
\nverification of pay sheets for amendments and inform personnel on any
\namendments, to keep a register of all payroll certificates and to respond to
\nenquiries related to this function. Filing of payroll related documents. Assisting with
\nkeeping of a register for payroll management. Assisting with Audit Queries
\nconcerning payroll management. Communicating with internal and external clients.
