Key Performance Areas<\/strong><\/p>\n Analyse performance requirement through training needs analyses, skills gap analyses and by consulting with the business units<\/strong><\/p>\n Work closely with business units to assess existing and future employee development requirements Design, develop and review learning programmes and learning materials<\/strong><\/p>\n Design learning programme frameworks that are fit for purpose and meet stakeholder requirements Facilitate learning programmes<\/strong><\/p>\n Facilitate learning programmes and associated interventions in line with the required programme standards Training administration<\/strong><\/p>\n Submit monthly training report to the training manager Project managing training initiatives and other ad hoc projects<\/strong><\/p>\n Assist with the role out and implementation of new policies and procedures when required <\/p>\n Requirements:<\/strong> Grade 12 or equivalent Experience & Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n A minimum of two years\u2019 experience in a similar role in a corporate environment Attribute & Behaviours<\/strong><\/p>\n High energy and clear focus on what needs to be achieved <\/p>\n
\nConsult regularly with allocated business units about development needs
\nIdentify training needs of the business through the performance management system (Training Needs Analysis and Personal Development Plans)
\nRecommend suitable development interventions to address any skills gaps identified<\/p>\n
\nResearch content of learning programmes and other learning interventions in consultation with subject matter experts, where appropriate
\nDevelop learning programmes and learning material in the appropriate format
\nCustomise existing learning material for internal training
\nAlign learning programmes and learning materials to best practice principles
\nUpdate all learning materials and courses menu regularly to ensure that these meet stakeholder requirements
\nReview feedback from stakeholders regularly and implement their recommendations and suggestions, where relevant
\nAssist with developing and implementing specialist development programmes
\nAmend or update changes that are identified through the cr\u00e8che review or exit interview process to improve skills retention and development<\/p>\n
\nMotivate and inspire learners by using appropriate learning resources
\nEnsure that facilitation contributes to the development of concepts through participation and provides opportunities to practice and consolidate learning
\nManage groups in line with best practice facilitation principles and in a manner that maximises the strengths of group learning while recognising the needs and requirements of individual learners
\nSelect and use facilitation methods that are appropriate to the audience and the agreed learning outcomes.
\nScope, design, develop and facilitate project interventions as per project plans<\/p>\n
\nSupport training process by conducting assessments and assisting with quality assurance and auditing activities
\nAssist with selecting and co-ordinating external training and development programmes as required from time to time
\nAssist with co-ordinating and scheduling of training programmes in line with the approved training plan as required from time to time
\nAssist with scheduling learning programmes and book training venues as required from time to time<\/p>\n
\nSupport the performance management process of key performance areas, 360’C feedback, training needs analysis and personal development plans for the allocated department
\nSupport specialist trainees\u2019 development plans and assist with meeting their development milestones
\nFacilitate any other training and development intervention, either soft skills or technical courses as the business requires, in line with the approved training plan
\nAssist with the annual pulse survey in the business and ensure that all the system requirements are met
\nImplement and monitor ad-hoc talent development projects as directed by the training manager
\nDesign and develop appropriate presentation for communications week
\nPresent selected sessions at communications week when required<\/p>\n
\nQualifications & Accreditations<\/p>\n
\nTertiary Education \u2013 National Diploma, First Degree or equivalent qualification in Industrial Psychology, Human Resource Development, ODETD Practices.
\nAccredited Assessor (advantageous if constituent assessor)
\nAccredited Moderator (advantageous if constituent moderator)<\/p>\n
\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
\nIn depth knowledge of the skills development framework and associated legislation, including experience in gaining accreditation for training courses
\nPrevious experience in designing effective and compliance training programmes
\nKnowledge of blended learning methodologies
\nExperience in E-learning implementation advantageous<\/p>\n
\nHave a \u2018can do\u2019 attitude
\nDisplay the business values and act as a role model.

\nMaintain industry knowledge and best practice within education and development
