REQUIREMENTS : 3-year tertiary qualification with 3-years experience in assets and inventory
\nmanagement or Grade 12 with 5-years\u2019 experience in the field of Supply Chain
\nManagement and Asset Management. Knowledge of SAP, SRM, BAS and
\nAssets. Valid driver\u2019s license, Skills and Competencies. Good interpersonal
\nrelations, communication, negotiation, organizing, planning and problem solving
\nskills. Computer literacy.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
DUTIES : Maintenance of Asset Registers including consolidation. Conducting
\nreconciliation of Asset, registers and dealing with variances. Implementation of
\nasset verification and disposal plan. Monitor barcoding of newly acquired
\nassets. Monitor movement of assets and ensure that inventory lists and asset
\nregister are updated accordingly. Monitor implementation of the departmental
\nasset management policy. Coordinate procurement of assets as per asset
\nmanagement policy. Prepare submission for the asset management committee
\nand implementation thereof. Coordinate procurement of inventory items at Head
\nOffice. Monitor compliance with legislative requirement in the management of
\ninventory, prepare monthly reports. Supervision of staff documents
\nmanagement, PMDS must be done quarterly and sectional meetings must be
\nheld monthly.<\/p>\n
