FET Internships: For students that require 12 months plant exposure in order to obtain a National N Diploma OR In \u2013Service Traineeship: For students from the University of Technology who require 12 months to complete core and elective modules in their logbooks to obtain a National Higher Diploma.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Requirements<\/h3>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS\/EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working toward completing a Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Biotechnology or Biochemistry qualification<\/li>\n<li>PC Literacy<\/li>\n<li>Ability to working in teams. Selection is based on Academic Records, Academic Performance and Field of study.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applicants will be required to undergo psychometric assessments.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Output And Accountabilities<\/h3>\n<p><strong>KEY OUTPUTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand the chemical process of brewing the beer<\/li>\n<li>Provide an opportunity to fulfill their experiential training or plant operation exposure<\/li>\n<li>Monitor Process Performance<\/li>\n<li>Work in teams<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to continued improvement in Ibhayi Brewery.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to continued Quality Improvement Initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ability to work shifts \u2022 Team-player \u2022 Vigilant with a bias for action \u2022 Attention to detail \u2022 Problem solving ability \u2022 Manual dexterity \u2022 Technical aptitude<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Interested applicants, who meet the above specifications should submit:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Detailed CV including certified copy ID copy \u2013 Certified copy of most recent academic transcript \u2013 Copy of Tertiary Institute curriculum \/ requirements for In Service Training These positions will be shift based.
