REQUIREMENTS : Appropriate recognized National Diploma or equivalent qualification (NQF 6) in
\nBuilt Environment Profession (Civil Engineering, Construction Management,
\nBuilding Science, Quantity Surveying, Architect, Project Management). Minimum
\n3 years relevant experience and a valid driver\u2019s license. Key Competencies:
\nTechnical Competency, e.g Knowledge of Construction Science; Construction
\nProcesses; Design process; Financial and Cost Factors; Project Management,
\ne.g Facilitate a development of a clear brief; Co-ordinate and monitor project
\nInitiation program; Understanding of construction contracts; Sound and in depth
\nknowledge of relevant prescripts, Application of the legislative framework
\ngoverning the public service eg, Public Service Act, Labour Relations Act,
\nPFMA, Housing Act, Housing Code, Housing Consumer Protection Act, Project
\nand Construction Management Profession Act, etc. Skills: Negotiation skills;
\nPresentation skills; People management skills; Time management;
\nCommunication skills*Report writing skills*Information management.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Manage and monitor Rural housing, Emergency housing, EPHP, Farm Workers
\nHousing, Informal Settlement Upgrading, Social Housing, FLISP, Project Linked,
\nRectification program, Community Residential Units, Engineering Services,
\nIncremental Intervention and Social Amenities; Provide progress reports
\n(financial and non-financial); Render and provide technical advice to
\nmanagement, municipalities and other stakeholders on housing and
\ninfrastructure development; Manage and monitor quality on site; Manage project
\nbudget and do cash flow Projection; Manage consultants.<\/p>\n
