REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12\/NCS or equivalent (NQF4) and a National Certificate in Community
\nDevelopment. Minimum 1 year experience in community work. Valid drivers\u2019
\nlicense. Key Competencies: Knowledge Of: Batho Pele principles; Public Service
\nAct; Computer Literacy; Dynamics; Culture and Language of the target
\ncommunity. Skills: Negotiation skills; Presentation skills; People management
\nskills; Time management; Communication; Computer skills and Numeracy skills.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Inform and assist communities with access to the services provided by
\ngovernment structures, Determine the needs of communities and
\ncommunicate these to the relevant government structures, Promote networks
\nand enhance the activities of existing local community workers aimed at
\nimproved service delivery, Compile reports and documents, as required, on
\nprogress, issues attended to, actions taken and outcomes, Keep up to date
\nwith regard to all services rendered by government and the processes and
\nmechanism to access the services, and Conduct ward profiling.<\/p>\n
