REQUIREMENTS : A National Diploma\/ Degree in Library science\/ Information Science or equivalent
\nqualification; 2 years\u2019 experience in library and information system; A valid
\nDriver\u2019s license skills and competencies: Communication skills (verbal and
\nwritten); Report writing skills; Supervision and leadership skills; Computer
\nLiteracy (MS Office, Internet (Juta Stat and Lexis Nexis); Research and planning
\nskills; Problem solving and planning skills; Creative and analytical thinking skills;
\nCustomer service orientation; Assertiveness and decisiveness.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Develop library systems, guides to users and electronic access as well as
\nsubscriptions; Coordinate planning and development of library interns, judges,
\nlaw clerk, library staff, exchange programme researchers; Responsible for the
\nclassification, cataloguing of material and indexing of government publications,\u00a0etc. Maintain Government publications collection of national significationincluding
\nthe identification, acquisition and subscription, classification and
\ncataloguing of the material. Establish and maintain Government publications
\ncollection of national significance; Provide effective people management.<\/p>\n
