\nSALARY : R214 740 \u2013 R614 883 per annum (Salary will be in accordance with OSD
\ndetermination). The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance
\nagreement.
\nCENTRE : state attorney: Kimberley (03), Durban (06), Mahikeng (02) and Port Elizabeth\u00a0(03)<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS : An LLB or 4 year recognized legal qualification; Admission as an Attorney; At
\nleast 2 years appropriate post legal\/litigation experience; Right of appearance in
\nthe High Court will be an added advantage; A valid driver\u2019s licence. Skills and
\nCompetencies: Legal research and drafting; Dispute resolution; Case flow
\nmanagement; Computer literacy; Strategic and conceptual orientation;
\nCommunication skills (written and verbal).<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Key Performance Areas: Handle litigation and appeals in the following Courts:
\nMagistrates Courts, High Court, Labour Court, Constitutional Court, Land Claims
\nCourt and CCMA; Provide conveyancing and notarial services; Draft legal
\ndocuments and conduct legal research; Furnish legal advice and opinion; Deal
\nwith all forms of arbitration, including inter-departmental arbitrations and debt
\ncollection; Attend to liquidation, insolvency queries, register trust and companies.
