CENTRE : Head Office: Pietermaritzburg
\nREQUIREMENTS : A B Degree\/National Diploma in Public Management\/Administration; PLUS A
\nminimum of three (3) years experience in a general support office environment;
\nPLUS Unendorsed valid Code B driver\u2019s licence (Code 08)<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Key Performance Areas:- Develop, implement and maintain a proper database of
\nall matters within the Litigation and Contracts Management sub-components.
\nManage processes to ensure the efficient and effective flow of documents\/record
\nwithin the Unit. Oversee the maintenance, storage and proper management of
\ndocumentation and information to enable the efficient tracing, retrieval and filing
\nthereof for the Unit. Assist the Managers in the office to ensure that
\ninformation\/record produced for reports are well researched and reliable.
\nProduce letters, memoranda, reports, presentations and other documents of a
\nhigh standard. Arrange consultations between the Office of the State Attorney
\nand\/or Counsel together with relevant witnesses\/Institutions. Ensure effective
\nand efficient pending system for both the Contract Management and Litigation
\nsub-components. Excellent organizational skills taking lead in preparation and
\nfacilitation of internal\/external meetings, briefing and conference calls and other
\nappointments. Record proceedings of meetings and effect decision\/action
\nincluding follow ups. Provide an administrative support to the Unit. Supervise,
\nmentor and resolve conflict to staff under your supervision. Adhere to the
\nrelevant Public Service and Departmental prescripts\/policies.
