SALARY : Grade 2: R497 919 per annum. Registration as a Pharmacist
\nGrade 3: R569 316 per annum. Registration as a Pharmacist and a minimum of
\neight (8) years appropriate experience. Salary grade will be determined in
\naccordance with the above requirements as per the OSD. Originally certified
\ncertificates of service must be submitted with your application as well as proof of
\nregistration as a Pharmacist.<\/p>\n

\nREQUIREMENTS : Qualification and years of experience required are indicated above ,Knowledge
\nand application of the Medicines and Related Substances Control Act, 1965 (Act
\n101 of 1965) and related Regulations with respect to the regulation of medicines
\nin terms of quality, safety and efficacy ,Good understanding of the conduct and
\ncontrol of clinical trials ,Knowledge of database management will be an
\nadvantage, Computer skills ,Good planning, organisational, supervisory, report
\nwriting and presentation skills ,Good communication (written and verbal) and
\ncomputer skills, High degree of dedication and accuracy ,Ability to work
\nindependently ,Must be willing to travel and work irregular hours ,A valid driver\u2019s
\nlicense.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Evaluation of package inserts, patients information leaflets and perform regular
\nupdates as per council decisions ,Prepare a report for the Clinical Committee and
\nallocate applications to reviewers ,Allocate and review applicant responses,
\nPrepare committee and council documents including minutes and resolutions,
\nSupervise the administrative staff Screening of in-coming post from applicants,
\nMinute clinical committee proceedings and execute clinical committee
\nrecommendations and Medicine Control Council (MCC) resolutions ,Develop
\nStandard Operating Procedures as well as related policies and guidelines
\n,Provide technical advice and information to all stakeholders ,Perform other
\nfunctions that may arise from time to time
