REQUIREMENTS : A Bachelor\u2019s Degree or three (3) years National Diploma in Communication, Public
\nRelations, Marketing or related fields; Two (2) years experience in internal
\ncommunication field; Writing experience; A valid driver\u2019s licence. Skills and
\nCompetencies; Computer literacy; Experience in project management; Proven
\norganisation skills and strategic thinking ability; Analytical Report writing skills;
\nStakeholder management and customer management skills, Excellent writing skills,
\nincluding reports, presentations, proposals and minute taking, Ability to work under
\npressure independently and proactively, Accuracy and attention to detail, Good
\ninterpersonal skills, Problem solving skills, Professionalism, Computer skills,
\nConfidentiality, Willingness to work flexible hours, Computer literacy skills.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : To communicate with the Justice Crime Prevention Security (JCPS) Cluster,
\nstakeholders and media on outreach programmes and campaigns by the Regional
\nOffice, To be able to create awareness through educating communities using
\ncommunity radio stations and other communication\/ media platforms, To monitor media
\nand any communication strategies for specific outreach campaigns and programmes,
\nWrite media statements, alerts, newsletter, editorial, comments and Regional Head\u2019s
\nspeech to be communicated to stakeholders, Justice Crime Prevention Security (JCPS)
\ncluster and media for archiving To be able to tailor National Office programmes to suit
\nregional communities, To create various platforms for the Regional Office to engage and
\neducate communities on the Criminal Justice System (CJS) etc using simplistic
\nlanguage rather than law vocabulary, To be able to monitor all media activities relating
\nto the Regional Office or Department of Justice and Constitutional Development within
\nthe specific region, Work closer, liaise and co \u2013 operate with other departments and
\ncommunities on programme around crime prevention by Legal Services, Local
\ncommunication liaison with sub \u2013offices, National Office and other regional stakeholders
\nfor various campaigns, Collect and distribute relevant information to the public and court
\nusers and Render communication support to the office.<\/p>\n
