REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 Certificate (or equivalent) PLUS 1 to 2 years\u2019 experience in the receptionist
\nfield and customer care. Knowledge of: i) Customer care principles. ii) Telephone
\netiquette. iii) Document tracking, storage and retrieval. iv) Ms Office Suite. v) Basic
\nprovisioning administration. vi) Filing systems. Competencies needed: Thorough
\nknowledge of sign language. Excellent communication skills. Planning and organising
\nskills. Interpersonal relations. Problem-solving skills. Typing. Initiative. Adaptability.

DUTIES : Answer telephone, screen and direct calls. Receive clients or visitors and ensure that
\nthey are correctly referred. Deal with queries from the public and customers. Render
\ngeneral administrative and clerical support. Receive and sort mail and deliveries. Scan,
\nmanage and draft notices, documentation, supporting registers and filing. Provide
\nefficient customer care services.<\/p>\n
